LEAD OXIDE
We are supplier of the Lead Oxide and other Lead products. Lead
Oxide is inorganic compound. Lead Oxide is also known as
Litharge and Lead Monoxide. Litharge or PbO is a secondary
mineral which is formed from the oxidation of Galena ores.
Litharge is a yellowish red substance Lead Oxide. Lead Oxide
comes in different form such as powder, pellets, pieces, and
tablets. Metal Oxide can react with acids in redox reactions.
Lead Oxide is obtained as an amorphous powder or crystallized by
Lead Nitrate or carbonate.
Characteristics
Lead Oxide powder is indissoluble in water and alcohol. It is
soluble in nitric acid or acetic acid. Lead Oxide is a poisonous
compound. Oxide compounds are not conductive to electricity.
Lead Oxide has two forms, one of the two forms of Lead Oxide
which occurs as a mineral is Massicot and other form is Litharge
or Lead Monoxide. Lead Oxide consists of 92.83 % Lead and 7.17 %
of Oxygen.
